Epic Days

These last days have been great, wedensday was full on windy and thursday offered perfect SUP and surf conditions.
I couldn't go on wedensday because of work  but thursdays SUP was pure magic.
Big sets and off-shore wind. On the way up we passed Nr Vorupør and waves were pretty massive , but the didn't look SUP friendly at all...
We opted for a spot called Fakir and my feet know why the spot has its name...

Weekend lookback

A little look back at a great weekend with the family. I had the possibility to play a little with the pictures taken during the weekend when I got back home and this is what came out..
I got the inspiration for the strobbr from fellow blogger Jonas Handekyn and I will try and see if I can use it a little more in the future...

Family weekend

I just got back after  home after a short trip to Cold Hawaii and this time I even brougth the family. The weather forecast was looking pretty rainy so we opted for a little cabin at Nystrup Camping.

Saturday we had some rain but sunday was sunny . I love the midsummer time as you can combine family life and surfing easily. I was in the water till 10' o clock on saturday evening ...

I surf the bay in klitmøller on saturday and on sunday we went to near by Nr Vorupør wich offered a nice little wave and offshore wind.

Summer Breeze

So a yet another busy weekend is over. Nonstop wind from friday til sunday. My options were pretty limited due to my wife working and me taking care of the kids...

Friday saw the nort coast of sealand going off. As usual RipnSnap was there  to cover the action

unday I took my daugther to the local beach for her nap and shot a few pictures of the local guys. Conditions were the usual up and down....

Race season

Another weekend another race. This time at the Outdoor festval in nearby Faaborg. It is an event featuring, adventure-race, moutainbiking, kitesurfing , windsurfing and SUP. Today the SUP race took place  allthough the conditions could have been moresuitable for windsurfing/kitesurfing. Pretty windy but in the end the sun came out.
We were 14 brave contestants and in the end the race was much derserverdly won by Mads Ring. I battled hard for third position myself but ended up in 4. position, ( ARRGGH)
All in all a great day at the beach with the family and lots of happy faces...
