New years wind !

Conditions  during the hollidays have been absolutely cranking, more on that later. My days have been busy taking care of family buisness as my wife has been down with the flu.
But none the less I have been able to sneak in a little surf session here and there.
I spend the last day of 2012 windsurfing my local flatwater spot with some of the local guys. We have been blessed with warm tempratures so it was a real joy blasting forth and back.

Goodbye September

This weekend we enjoyed the last september days. And what a month it has been : tons of wind and waves. Seems as if I had  so many sessions that they are hard to keep track of.
I ended september with a mellow fun little windsurf session in Blåvand.
Lots of people out there despite some pretty mediocre conditions..
I was on my 5,1 and the 85 l tabou... Not that many quality waves but every day on the water is a good day.

Mister Günter Lorch was there , testing out new boards?

Kent long time local was there swimming and cursing ;-)

Rainbow weather

Gorm was there as  as well. He has had an almost 10 year break from windsurfing but it is really good to see him back in action. Back in the 90'ties he was competting on the pwa-tour and a big talent

Making the most of it..

Martin another local who always is out there

Gorm again

Another back loop

Martin switched to 4,2 while I was still on 5,0

New Board

Finally got my hand on a race-Sup.
For a long time I have been dreaming of having a sup that I could tak to the nearby Harbour for a quick spin. I wanted something that could combine the fun of flatwater-SUP'ing anf a good cadiovascular workout..
I think I found was looking for and at a resonabel price...
Absolutely love the color.

After work session.

I love this time of year, it doesn't seem to get dark before 23.00
The other day I managed to squeeze in a  quick after work session..
I called my wife saying ... I migth be a little late..
I drove to near by spot on the small iland of Langeland called Ristinge...
Every now and again this spot offer suitable conditions allthough  the summer months a often spoiled by lots of seaweed.
For modays after work session we had a gusty cross onshore starboard tack wind . I was on my 5,1m2 sail and the good old 85 l tabou.
If you got lucky there were some funsized steep ramps out there...
I was out there with my good friend brave heart..
I snapped a few photos with the Go-pro an managed to be home for dinner !!
