Summer Breeze

So a yet another busy weekend is over. Nonstop wind from friday til sunday. My options were pretty limited due to my wife working and me taking care of the kids...

Friday saw the nort coast of sealand going off. As usual RipnSnap was there  to cover the action

unday I took my daugther to the local beach for her nap and shot a few pictures of the local guys. Conditions were the usual up and down....

Conditions  during the hollidays have been absolutely cranking, more on that later. My days have been busy taking care of family buisness as my wife has been down with the flu.
But none the less I have been able to sneak in a little surf session here and there.
I spend the last day of 2012 windsurfing my local flatwater spot with some of the local guys. We have been blessed with warm tempratures so it was a real joy blasting forth and back.

Sunday Roast

This weekend was pretty nice all in all . I spent all friday afternoon having some father-son time with my 6 year old.  I had my eyes fixed on a saturday morning wave SUP-sesssion, but unfortuneately my wife had a emergency phonecall late friday evening and had to go to work, wich left me with the kids.

Instead I had a flat water workout on the sup in the afternoon.

Sundays weather forecast was for lots of wind and rain. Howling wind from a southeasterly corner meant I could go to a nearby spot in Nyborg. Cross onshore starboard tack wind, small waves , lots of rain and lots of old friends. I was on my 3,9m2

Slipsen

Slipsen: probably the worst windsurf spot you can imagine....
Slipshavn aka Slipsen is my  go to windsurfspot. Its only a 10 min drive from my house and you will always meet other windsurfers there. It´s a flatwater spot working in most weasterly winn directions. Its very safe for learning, that all positive. But on the downside it is often not as windy as the weather forecast says and the wind is often very gusty... I somehow love the spot anyway. I hav had many freestyle days here the local surfers are always really nice.. Many happy memories surfing thisshitty spot ;-)
Often you will see a variety of racers, freestylers og beginners and you will be sure to meet some of the +65 seniors..
